Lindsay Transport is now entering it's seventh decade in operation and is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia. Lindsay Transport specialises in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres. We operate a network of freight terminals with significant coldroom facilities across the east coast of Australia and employ a staff of approximately 1500 workers.
Reliability is the cornerstone in transport and to ensure reliability we make sure our fleet is maintained to a high level. As such, due to continued growth in the size of our fleet Lindsay Transport is currently seeking truck detailers and general hand workers to join the maintenance team based in the Sydney depot.
We currently have day and afternoon shift positions.
The primary duties of the role will include:
- Washing trucks and trailers
- Some basic yard work, general site maintenance
- Completing work in a safe and efficient manner
The ideal candidate will be:
- Hard working and willingness to learn
- Perform all duties to a high standard
- Available to work some weekends when needed
- Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic
