ECU’s People and Culture team is focused on empowering the talent and potential of our staff, where a great employee experience is central to how we operate and support our stakeholders across the university. This position provides frontline customer service and HR operational and administrative support, across all areas of recruitment, position management, appointment, visa and relocation, and onboarding activities. The P&C Adviser works collaboratively and partners with Business Partners to build relationships and provide generalist advice and support to enhance the employee experience. This is a fast-paced role that will require agility and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with energy and enthusiasm.

You will demonstrate the following capabilities:
Hold a Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources or relevant discipline or have relevant HR experience.

A good understanding and knowledge of recruitment and HR protocols and practices.

Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a highly operational environment.

Have strong attention to detail and have an organised and proactive approach to daily priorities.

Ability to build collaborative and productive working relationships with stakeholders.

Proven ability to work well within, and contribute to a team, as well as be able to work autonomously.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration

These roles attract remuneration of $75,821 to $84,254 p.a. plus a 17% university superannuation contribution.
