About the Role
Joining a team that supports one another, you will be assisting in the preparation and serving of food to our residents.
In this varied role, your day-to-day responsibilities could include:
- Assisting in the preparation of meals to residents both in the dining room and tray service to their rooms;
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room and equipment throughout the shift;
- Setting up and cleaning the dining room before and after serving foods;
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices according to legislation.
About You
You are an enthusiastic and reliable worker who is committed to providing excellent customer service to our residents. You are someone who is passionate about cooking and working within a kitchen and understands the importance of keeping a clean workspace in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally you will have:
- Certificate II in Kitchen Operations (Desirable but not essential);
- Experience working within a kitchen and serving of meals;
- Experience working within the Aged Care industry (desirable);
- Current National Police Certificate, or the willingness to complete one.

Under Churches of Christ policy and/or the applicable public health directions, team members are required to be vaccinated for Covid-19.
